The company's research group began its activities in 1997 under the name of Nassaj Shimi Production-Industrial Company in the field of producing textile raw materials and designing and manufacturing laboratory equipment for dyeing, printing, and finishing. In 2003, it continued its activities as Sima Nassaj Yazd Engineering Research Company, obtaining a research license from the Ministry of Industries and becoming the first textile research center in Yazd province. The company's researchers and specialists aim to advance the country's textile industry by combining science and knowledge with industrial experience to solve various industry problems and create new technologies.
