About Cosar Pharmaceutical Company (شرکت داروسازی کوثر)

Cosar Pharmaceutical Company was established in 1973 under the name Chemico Pharmaceutical Company. Initially, it produced oral antibiotics under license from Beecham Pharmaceuticals of England. Over time, with the establishment of new production lines for non-antibiotic solid oral drugs, other generic products, supplements, and natural products in dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, sachets, syrups, and bulk powders were added to the company's product portfolio. In 2021, a production line for solid oral drugs with exposure level 3 and 3+ was added for the production of central nervous system drugs and some new drugs subject to these requirements. The company's first biosimilar drug is expected to enter the market in 2023.
