About Avicenna Pharmaceuticals (آوه سینا)

Avicenna Pharmaceuticals is a manufacturer of various solid oral dosage forms, supplying products to domestic and international customers since its establishment in 2001. Regulatory affairs, marketing, sales, and other administrative matters are handled at the head office in Tehran. Materials management, production, quality control, and quality assurance are carried out in two separate sections of the factory in Kaveh Industrial City, Saveh, 90 km south of Tehran. Research and development, a key differentiator, is conducted in laboratories in Tehran and Saveh. The factory has two separate units for general and high-potency/hazardous drugs, with the latter being the first fully closed-system production facility for solid oral dosage forms in Iran. Avicenna was listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange in 2018, trading under the symbol 'Dava'.
