Tondgooyan Fiber Industrial Group was established in 2009 in Qom Province with a registered capital of 30 billion Iranian Rials to develop industries related to the production of various synthetic fibers. The company selected the production of polyester fibers (hollow, solid, cotton type) as its initial phase and built its industrial unit in Salafchegan Industrial Town. Polyester fiber is one of the most popular synthetic fibers in Iran and the world, as it can be given all the properties of other synthetic fibers such as acrylic, polypropylene, and polyethylene. The company also operates a PET bottle recycling unit to supply part of its raw material, increasing efficiency and profitability.
