About Pars Petrochemical (پتروشیمی پارس)

Pars Petrochemical Company was established on February 21, 1999, initially registered as Asalouyeh Petrochemical Company. Its effective operations began with the formation of a new board of directors on October 2, 1999. The company's name was changed to Pars Petrochemical on May 7, 2000. It is located in the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone in Asalouyeh, Bushehr Province, on the northern coast of the Persian Gulf. The total foreign investment is 720 million USD and the domestic investment is 2835 billion Rials. The company owns 50% of the shares of Arya Sasol Polymer Company. Pars Petrochemical consists of three production units and one off-site unit.
