Foolad Rey started its activities in the 1980s by Mr. Abdullah Isfahani in the production sector. After trial and error in various fields, he began working in the fluid transfer industry, producing metal caps, reducers, elbows, and fittings. With the establishment of forging and machining machinery, a new phase of production began, adding steel flanges and rings. The company focuses on increasing quality and providing proper service. In the 1990s, a production unit in Shamsabad Industrial Town was established with new technology for producing weld neck flanges without R (creating a 90-degree angle at the junction of the flange base and the internal opening of the weld neck flange). Hot-dip galvanizing was added to improve the quality of steel rings. The first presence of Foolad Rey at the Water and Wastewater Exhibition was in the 2000s, leading to the establishment of a warehouse and sales office on Sanat Street to bridge the factory and customers. In the 2010s, the company received an appreciation certificate and trophy from the first conference of the Ministry of Energy in Tehran, continuously participated in water and wastewater and agricultural exhibitions, compiled standards in the water and wastewater sector, increased the production size of iron flanges and rings, established a sandblasting unit, and researched cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Products are made from ST37 steel from domestic steel sheet factories such as Mobarakeh Steel, ensuring the best quality and lowest price. Product standards follow DIN, ISO, and ANSI, and technical specifications can be changed upon customer request.
