About Fars & Khuzestan Cement Co.

The company was established under the name of Fars Cement Company on June 18, 1950 by common investment and budget organization and Shiraz Cement Company. Having the initial capital of 2,000,000 Rials, in 1953 the head office was transferred to Tehran and in 1955, Fars Cement Factory started with a daily capacity of 200 tons per day. Upon approval of the extra general assembly dated February 21, 1972, the name of the company changed into Fars & Khuzestan Cement Co. The capital of the company was increased several times and in 2009 amounted to 4,500,000,000,000 Rials. The company has rendered widespread effort in the field of cement and affiliated industries for advancement of quantity of cement production, asbestos cement, constructional materials, casting machine fabrication, and dynamic service and know-how along with the country's expansion of economic industrial plans.
